In the death and resurrection of the Christ, Jesus of Nazareth, God has gifted all creation with the promise of life and salvation. We need do nothing to earn this gift, and we need not be anxious about the promise.

In Baptism we are joined in covenant to God's promise. Our God is the God who cannot love us more, and who will not love us less.

We are free therefore to celebrate together and reveal to the world what God has in store for all Creation.

We are church for the world and for each other, rejoicing in the knowledge that God's salvation comes to us in the death and resurrection of Christ: nothing more, nothing less, and nothing else.

Martin Luther, our spiritual ancestor, declared: “Christian living does not mean to be good, but to become good; not to be well, but to get well; not being but becoming; not rest, but training. We are not there yet, but we shall be. It has not yet happened, but it is on the way.” That is beautiful!

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church is a community of servants bound together by love for the Lord and our desire to become what we already are through the covenant of baptism - the body of Christ in this place, in this time.

We invite you to come and join the party that celebrates God's salvation-promise. Come and worship. Come and join us in learning.

Come and use your gifts and passions to serve the community of Lombard and the world. Come and be part of God's dream for all people.
