Worship is at the heart of our life as a community of God's people. In the liturgy we are gathered to praise and hear God's Word, nourished by bread and wine at the Lord's Table, and sent out to serve in Christ's name.
Holy Communion is celebrated every Sunday. All who are part of Christ's church are welcome to come share the Lord's meal, no questions asked about what kind of congregation you are a part of. All are welcome.
All are welcome to experience God's presence with us in worship. Children are welcome.
+ Worship that inspires, uplifts and draws us into God's presence, worship that expresses our unity in diversity, worship that expresses a progressive theology of Christ's death and resurrection;
+ opportunities for learning and living out God's Word;
+ affording every generation the gift and joy of standing deep within God's grace;
+serving those in our community and world who are in need;
+sharing the News that is too good to be true, but is true nonetheless!
We employ in our worship both traditional and contemporary liturgy and music. We do this so that everyone can experience both styles of worship. Holy Trinity values diversity and breadth, placing the needs of the whole community above the needs of any one of us. Luke 22:24-27 is our guide.
We want to include children in a way that lets them worship as they are able. Prayers conclude with the word "And let the people of God say...." The assembly, and children who cannot read, respond with "Amen!" It's a simple but sweet way for children to participate in worship at their own level.
Children's Church is an opportunity for children of all ages to have several moments during worship devoted specifically to them. A conversation with Leggo Lamb, Pewter Skunk or William the Goat (just don't ever call him 'Billie'!) might take place, we might sing a song together, perhaps we take a tour of the worship space to think about how God meets us in worship and helps us live out the baptismal covenant on which we all depend.
Holy Communion is celebrated at all services. All are welcome to the banquet.
Nursery care is provided, although children are encouraged to worship with their families.
Baptisms are always part of the community's worship services and are scheduled through the church office.
Couples who wish to be married at Holy Trinity must contact the church office to schedule a meeting with Pastor Amy.
Memorial services and funerals are scheduled for the sanctuary by calling the church office or Pastor Amy.
